New Oil Paintings by Rose Collins
Rose Collins has created a fantastic new body of work in oils this season. These contemporary, yet precious soft renditions of nature’s wildlife, brings us closer to the appreciation of their majesty, strength, and beauty. Her colorful pallet and their interesting gaze draw the viewer to look again or closer still. They are quietly contemplative.
Rose Collins comments, “These paintings are about the secret world of wildlife’s unlikely friends. I have softened my palette and enjoying adding flowers, insects and a touch of whimsy to this latest work. The eyes of my animals are always a bridge to their emotional world, depicting curiosity, fear and frequent playfulness.”
